Step 2 of Re-Opening Road Map starts June 20 in Saskatchewan

May 27, 2021

Saskatchewan has reached Step Two in the provincical Re-Opening Roadmap, with over 70 per cent of Saskatchewan residents age 30 and older having received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Effective Sunday, June 20, capacity thresholds on retail will be removed. Additionally, there will be greatly relaxed capacity rules for personal care services, dining in at restaurants and many other businesses.

RCC has also had discussions with the government regarding publishing updated guidance documents addressing carryover restrictions that limit clothing returns, prohibit the use of reusable bags and other precautionary restrictions put in place during the early stages of the pandemic.
