Leading industry associations call on federal government to prevent strike action at the Port of Montréal

Retail Council of Canada joined forces with other leading national industry associations including Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Canadian Vehicle Manufacturer’s Association, Forest Products Association of Canada, Canadian Federation of Independent Business, and Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters in issuing the following statement regarding the notice of strike action by longshoremen at the Port of Montreal.

RCC is hopeful that solutions are developed quickly to avoid any further economic disruption to our industry.
