Have your say: Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations

September 23, 2020

Transport Canada is considering a new policy to address potential gaps in the current Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations related to reverse logistics which includes: electronics containing lithium batteries, cleaning products, paints, SodaStream canisters, propane cylinders, etc.

In order to know how to best support retailers, we would like to better understand current policies retailers have in place to handle the reverse logistics of dangerous goods, the scale of dangerous goods returns, and any current or emerging challenges faced by retailers when handling dangerous goods.

All retailers are invited to fill out the survey regardless of how much your organization handles dangerous goods or your understanding of the current regulations. All responses will remain confidential.
