Saskatchewan extends restrictions to January 29, 2021

January 14, 2021

As anticipated, the Government of Saskatchewan has extended current restrictions on businesses and personal gatherings until at least January 29, 2021. Current retail restrictions were announced December 12, 2020, which required, since December 25, 2020, that store capacity be limited to 50% for smaller stores, and 25% for stores larger than 20,000 square feet.

The province’s Chief Medical Health Officer has suggested that if measures are not effective at bending the downward trajectory by the end of January 2021, stricter measures will be considered.
