Manitoba releases new health orders

September 8, 2021

Manitoba published new health orders on September 3, 2021, formalizing its decision to introduce a requirement to provide proof vaccination for a number of businesses and services. As of September 4, 2021, restaurants, movie theatres, gyms and fitness centres may operate at full capacity. However, they must check for proof of vaccination for anyone 12 and older upon entry. Proof of immunization is not required for pickup up takeout food but does apply to food courts who choose to dine-in.

Mandatory masking is now required for all indoor places, including retail stores.
