Full vaccination required for Restrictions Exemption Program in Alberta

As of Monday, October 25, 2021, Albertans need to provide proof they are fully vaccinated to access restaurants, movies, sporting events and other businesses participating in the Restrictions Exemption Program. Up until that day, a transition period will be in place to allow sufficient time for Albertans to be able to be immunized fully against COVID-19. Those who are not fully vaccinated can still choose to provide a privately paid negative COVID test from within the previous 72 hours or valid proof of a medical exemption.
