Health Canada is asking retailers for feedback on hazardous consumer products being used in the workplace

Health Canada is looking to better understand the scope and scale of hazardous consumer products being used in the workplace, their impact on workers’ health and safety, and how to best protect workers who use, handle, and store hazardous consumer products in their workplaces.
To this end, the Workplace Hazardous Materials Bureau published a survey to examine the consumer products exclusion under the Hazardous Products Act (HPA) as Health Canada considers changes to these exclusions.
The survey will remain open until Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Retailers are asked to participate.
