RCC advocates to avoiding discretionary labelling so that retailers can focus on recovery

March 11, 2021

RCC continues to advocate on behalf of our members during the COVID-19 crisis to avoid discretionary labelling regulatory initiatives so that retailers in Canada can focus on recovery.

RCC partnered with Food, Health & Consumer Products of Canada and the Canadian Beverage Association to push for an additional four years for implementation of the Nutrition Labelling Regulations (Nutrition Facts Table) and to advocate that any further labelling changes (e.g. Front-of-Pack Labelling, Food Labelling Modernization, etc.) be coordinated and timed with this cadence cycle.
