Major supply chain impediment relieved as Coquihalla (Highway 5) in BC reopens to four lanes

December 20, 2022

The Coquihalla Highway had very significant damage from the November 2021 storms. The highway is a major artery for commercial traffic, and the repairs have significantly reduced congestion and increased safety. Permanent repairs are ongoing and will continue into late 2023, ongoing speed and traffic-pattern changes will be in effect until these are complete.
