Health Canada ending temporary licenses to produce sanitizers
July 14, 2020As of July 14, 2020, Health Canada is no longer issuing temporary COVID-19 licenses to produce hand sanitizer. If a company wishes to make sanitizer and has not yet applied for a license, they will now need to apply through the regular channels.
RCC has confirmed this does not impact any current license holder or any approved sanitizer currently in the market. Any company that is holding a temporary COVID-19 license now will still be able to produce hand sanitizer for the foreseeable future.
