Alberta extends public health measures to September 27, 2021

Last Friday, August 13, 2021, Alberta announced that public health measures scheduled to expire on August 16, 2021 would be extended for another six weeks. These measures include mandatory masking in public transit, school buses, taxis and ride shares, and a mandatory 10-day isolation period for those with COVID-19 symptoms or a positive test. The action comes after cases rose steadily through the latter half of July and early August.
