Electronic recycling website launches

Alberta Recycling Management Authority (ARMA) has launched a new dedicated website to support its two-year expanded electronics pilot project. Included in the pilot program will be audio visual equipment, telecom, cell phone and wireless devices, electronic gaming equipment, small home appliances, portable power tools, toys, musical instruments and solar panels. There will be no charge for Albertans to recycle these items for the duration of the pilot, with funding coming from surplus funding within the program. Data collected will help inform any potential future Alberta program.
