RCC calls on Alberta to raise retail capacity
December 1, 2021RCC continues to meet with a range of government officials from a number of ministries, calling on the Alberta government to raise the ridiculously low 33% retail capacity that was set during the height at the Wave 4 health crisis.
While Public Health experts across Canada have set retail capacity at 100% in reflection of the low-risk nature of shopping, the province is politically skittish of being perceived as loosening restrictions after been so widely criticized earlier this fall.
RCC will continue to push for science over politics, in hopes that capacity will be more appropriately set in coming days.
