Alberta retail capacity to increase again on June 10, 2021

June 8, 2021

Alberta is set to enter Stage 2 of its Open For Summer reopening plan on June 10, 2021 as vaccination rates continue to grow, and hospitalizations remain manageable. Starting Thursday, retail capacity will grow to 33% of fire code, up from the current 15% limit. Additionally, Stage 2 will allow for restaurants to offer indoor dining, movie theatres and gym classes to reopen, and outdoor gatherings to increase to 20 people. Alberta’s work from home order will also be lifted, although still recommended.
