Updates to quick service public health orders in Alberta

October 13, 2021

Following advocacy by many associations, including RCC, Alberta Health has updated its health orders to allow quick serve restaurants (including those in retail stores) to screen customers for vaccination status at the counter/point of sale, rather than at the point of entry. Dine-in remains limited to vaccinated patrons only and must be separated from the ordering line. Similar to other indoor places, customers must wear masks unless at a table.
