New Brunswick announces two-week circuit breaker in areas with increasing COVID-19 cases

October 13, 2021

In response to increasing COVID-19 cases in parts of New Brunswick, the provincial government announced a two-week circuit breaker initiative effective Friday, October 8, 2021 at 6pm. Areas covered under the circuit breaker include: Moncton, Edmundston, and Grand Falls. Only specific travel (e.g. work) are allowed into and out of circuit breaker areas. All businesses remain open across the province but must follow proof of vaccination rules. Retail is considered essential and thus, does not require proof of vaccination.

Masks remain mandatory at all indoor public places.
