Newfoundland and Labrador mandates vaccinations for all employees in proof of vaccination settings

October 13, 2021

For all business settings that require proof of vaccination for customers, the government is extending that mandate to employees, volunteers and those entering the business for a work purpose. This would include vendors delivering supplies to these businesses. These employees have until December 1, 2021 to be fully vaccinated or provide an approved medical exemption.  Unlike other provinces, there is no option for employees to be subjected to regular testing.

To support the mandate, the province has also released a series of frequently asked questions and developed printable resources for businesses.
