COVID-19 vaccination verification app introduced in Newfoundland and Labrador

October 13, 2021

On October 8, 2021, the government introduced its COVID-19 vaccination verification app, known as NLVaxVerify. By October 22, 2021, people in the province 12 years of age and older will need to show proof of vaccination (or an approved medical exemption) in order to access most gatherings, events, restaurants (in-door seated dining), bars, cinemas, salons and spas, among other business settings. Proof of vaccination is not required for retail.
