BC provincial sales tax: Amendments impact tobacco, kefir & elastic hosiery
August 3, 2022The latest revisions to B.C.’s provincial sales tax mean kefir and elastic hosiery are now exempt from PST. Meanwhile, British Columbia now charges 7% PST on the purchase price of tobacco (which already includes the tobacco tax).
