Further relaxation of restrictions anticipated this week in Manitoba

July 6, 2021

The province of Manitoba achieved its Phase 2 reopening vaccination target on Monday, with 75% of the 12-and-older population having received their first vaccination and 50% now fully vaccinated. As a result, it is expected today that the province will outline its plans to proceed with the further relaxation of rules on Saturday, July 12, 2021, nearly 3 weeks ahead of expected.

Retail capacity is expected to increase to 50% of fire code, and other sectors and services will also enjoy greater operational flexibility.
