Potential supply chain impacts of B.C. Wildfires

Due to extreme heat following a very dry spring, a number of wildfires are impacting major transportation links through British Columbia. There is strong potential that the wildfire situation could get worse over the summer months, further impacting major highways and rail lines.
Emergency Information B.C. has information on preparedness, travel advisories and wildfire alerts and orders. Members are reminded that potential impacts include delivery impacts to communities in B.C. and eastbound shipments through the Port of Vancouver by rail or road.
