Health Canada introduces amendments to the regulation of natural health products and opens consultation period

Health Canada recently proposed new amendments aimed at improving the clarity of labelling on natural health products. While RCC is supportive of this goal, we have expressed concerns on the timing of these amendments, coming so soon after the plain language labelling initiative for over-the-counter non-prescription drugs. RCC is also advocating for compliance at the manufacturing rather than retail level.
