The Manitoba government has proclaimed the Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Control Amendment Act that shifts the responsibility from restaurants and retailers, to third-party delivery companies when it comes to the delivery of liquor and cannabis. Previously, in the event of non-compliance with requirements, the liability was on the restaurant, lounge or retailer who used the third-party delivery company and not the third-party delivery company.
