Corded window regulations: What Canadian retailers should know

As of May 1, 2022, Canada’s new Corded Window Covering Regulations went into full effect. Retailers are now expected to meet all the requirements outlined in the regulations. Health Canada has indicated it is shifting its efforts from promotion and awareness to compliance monitoring and enforcement, where necessary.
