Act to amend Quebec food product adopted
October 5, 2021On September 30, 2021, the National Assembly officially unanimously adopted Bill 99, “An act to amend mainly the Food Products Act“. This is a major step forward in the current regulatory review process and RCC welcomes the positive impacts of these reforms for our members, who will see a reduction in administrative requirements and flexibility in the location of pilot projects among other benefits.
RCC submitted a brief (French only) as part of the consultations and continues to lobby to ensure that the review processes for “Regulation respecting food” are efficient and considers our requests.
