Quebec grocery stores can now make deliveries during curfew

February 25, 2021

Following pressure from RCC CCCD, urging the government to find ways to facilitate compliance with the necessary social distancing safety measures stores need to follow while also adapting to changing consumer behaviour, groceries are now allowed to be delivered during curfew hours (from 8 p.m. in the red zone and 9:30 p.m. in the orange zone).

Employees that must travel for work must have with them, at a minimum, an attestation provided by their employer (example provided by the government available online). Any additional evidence linking travel to work (pay stub, uniform, etc.) is also advisable to help speed up the verification process in case of a potential police check.
