Saskatchewan isolation period for returned clothing reduced

July 21, 2020

Following extensive advocacy by RCC, the Saskatchewan government announced that effective today, the retail guidelines for apparel stores has been updated, reducing the length of time that returned or donated items must be held to 24 hours, down from 72 hours. RCC has argued that 72 hours is excessive, and ties up inventory at a considerable impact on cost and lost sales to Saskatchewan retailers.
