The Government of Saskatchewan has released their “Re-Opening Roadmap“, a three-step plan to gradually lift current public health restrictions as Saskatchewan reaches significant vaccination levels. The Re-Opening Roadmap provides Saskatchewan businesses with greater clarity for planning as current restrictions are eased.
Step two of the plan identifies that after three weeks of 70% of people aged 30+ having received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, retailers and restaurants can expect capacity restrictions to be removed.
Presently 53% of this age group has been vaccinated. The expectation is the province will move to step two by the third week of June 2021.
