Last week, the Saskatchewan government began its Fall legislative session with the reading of the Throne Speech which laid out the government’s policy priorities for the Fall sitting.
RCC will be monitoring the government’s introduction of a new “Saskatchewan Jobs Plan” and what the retail impact will be on the efforts to establish economic autonomy by using the Saskatchewan First Act. The government is also introducing the Saskatchewan Remembrance Day Observance Act, designed to protect individuals’ right to wear a poppy in all Saskatchewan workplaces.
