Cases continue to rise throughout Saskatchewan

September 8, 2021

With Saskatchewan now reporting the second highest level of daily COVID-19 cases next to Alberta, the province has indicated they have no immediate plans to reimpose any restrictions that were lifted fully on July 11, 2021. Hospital capacity remains sufficient, and the province continues to focus on increasing vaccination rates.

Municipalities have begun to discuss a return to mandatory masks, and RCC will watch developments in this area over coming days.
