Indefinite suspension of enforcement activities for new Safe Food for Canadians requirements

In an unprecedented effort that successfully suspended multiple regulatory requirements for retailers, RCC lead the charge for the indefinite extension for enforcement activities for the provisions of the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations that were to come into effect on July 15, 2020. This pause will allow retailers to focus resources on responding to the COVID-19 crisis.
