New COVID-19 interim measures for household cleaning products and soaps

RCC was successful in its advocacy efforts with Health Canada to temporary lift labelling and language requirements for household cleaners and soaps to help mitigate the unprecedented demand Covid-19 has put on these products. Retailers are now able to import and sell products that only have one official language or that might be missing proper warning symbols. However, certain packaging requirements, such as child-resistant packaging, will still be required.
