B.C. government amends employer paid sick leave requirement
April 5, 2022Amendments to the Employment Standards Act received Royal Assent on March 31, 2022. The amendments clarify that employer-paid sick leave provisions are based on a uniform period for all employees – the calendar year. The amendments will ease employer administration.
