B.C. government invites response on work for youth aged 16 to 19
April 26, 2022The public consultation is focused on types of work that could be deemed as too hazardous to be done by youth under the ages of 19. If a type of work is included in the regulation as ‘hazardous’, an employer would not be permitted to employ a person younger than the minimum age (16, 17, 18, or 19) specified for that job. The engagement period will close on June 10, 2022.
