Province announces funding for small businesses impacted by vandalism
August 2, 2023On Wednesday, July 26, 2023, B.C. announced funding to help small businesses (those with up to 500 employees) apply for up to $2,000 per business for the cost of repairs due to vandalism, and up to $1,000 for vandalism prevention.
The $10.5 million in the Securing Small Business Rebate Program applies to expenses in the years 2023 and 2024. RCC’s expectation is that the demand will significantly out-strip the available funding.
