Manitoba introduces prompt payment legislation
March 22, 2022The Manitoba government has announced the introduction of the prompt payment for construction act which would establish payment obligations and timelines for contractors and subcontractors in the construction industry. The regulation is expected to mirror rules that have been introduced in several provinces, including Alberta earlier this month.
