New Brunswick moving to next phase of recovery

The New Brunswick government’s COVID-19 recovery plan is moving to the next phase of the yellow level on Friday, June 5, 2020, for all areas of the province except Zone 5 (Campbellton region).

The yellow level includes the gradual reopening of more businesses and activities while working to prevent a resurgence of the virus. 

  • June 5, 2020, will see increases in public gathering numbers and the reopening of sports facilities
  • June 19, 2020, will see Canadian citizens with property in New Brunswick / Canadians with immediate family in New Brunswick allowed into the province, provided they self-isolate for 14 days

The re-opening of sports facilities and the allowance for summer residents / immediate family to come to New Brunswick could provide opportunities for retailers
