Woodstock Empowers Retailers with Choice in Sunday Hours

Woodstock’s Town Council recently passed By-law 603, enabling all retailers to decide their Sunday operating hours. This move, advocated by RCC with the Mayor’s involvement, offers Woodstock businesses the flexibility to choose hours that best suit their needs amid stiff competition. This change in Woodstock leaves Miramichi and Sackville as the only municipal governments in New Brunswick that still impose fixed Sunday retail hours. RCC continues to advocate for retail flexibility in these areas.
