Guidance document posted for Newfoundland & Labrador’s Sugar Sweetened Beverage Tax
March 29, 2022The Newfoundland and Labrador government has posted its Sugar Sweetened Beverage Tax (SSB) guidance documents, forms, etc. on the Department of Finance webpage. RCC members have been anxiously awaiting these documents as they continue to prepare for the commencement of this tax on September 1, 2022. The Information Circular (RAA-SSB-2022-03-17) would likely be the most pertinent document for RCC member planning purposes.
