Ontario to host free webinar on ‘disconnect from work’ law
July 26, 2022For retailers with stores & operations in Ontario, the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development is hosting a webinar on the province’s new Disconnect from Work policy through the Employment Standards Act.
The webinars – set for Thursday, July 28, 2022, and Wednesday, August 24, 2022 – will provide information to employees and employers on the written policy on disconnecting from work requirements, discuss an overview of the rules, identify key deadlines, and answer questions about the requirements.
