May 30, 2021 set for Step One of Reopening Roadmap in Saskatchewan

May 11, 2021

The province has set Sunday, May 30, 2021 as the target date for the commencement of Step One of Saskatchewan’s reopening plan now that the threshold of more than 70% of Saskatchewan residents age 40 and older having received their first shot of COVID-19 vaccine has been achieved. Step One of the Reopening Roadmap includes the reopening of restaurants, gyms and substantially expanding limits for indoor and outdoor gatherings.

Currently 60% of those over 30 years of age have received their first vaccination. Retail restrictions will be loosened after three weeks of more than 70% of residents aged 30 and older being vaccinated.
