Safe 3-step reopening begins for Saskatchewan

June 1, 2021

On Sunday, May 30, 2021, the province entered Step 1 of its Reopening Roadmap, celebrating the reopening of restaurants, and the loosening of limits on indoor and outdoor gatherings.

Step 2 scheduled for June 20, 2021 will bring about the complete lifting of capacity thresholds in retail stores and restaurants, the reopening of most sectors, and further expansion of indoor and outdoor gatherings.

During Step 3, anticipated to begin by early July, most remaining restrictions will be lifted and guidance on gathering sizes and indoor masking will be developed based on the progress of the first two steps.
RCC has been working with the province to update the current guidance documents. We expect these documents to be published in the coming weeks.
