RCC Holiday Shopping Survey 2018

November 7, 2018

Retail Council of Canada’s Holiday Shopping Survey 2018, conducted by Leger, asked 2,504 Canadians from coast to coast about their intended behaviours around the upcoming 2018 holiday shopping season. The study found that Black Friday and Cyber Monday are more likely to be the time many Canadians search for bargains as the traditionally American retail holiday weekend has now eclipsed Boxing Day as the best time to get deals. The survey identified lots of ways Canadians from various regions shop differently, the types of goods they will be spending more of their money on and the various combination of ways they plan to shop this year (in-store, online, via computer/tablet or mobile device).
