B.C. government consults on new statutory holiday
August 9, 2022The B.C. government is having an online survey (as a substitute for a consultation process) to determine support for various potential actions to mark National Truth and Reconciliation Day. Buried in the survey amidst a number of actions that businesses and employers could undertake to mark the day, is a question as to whether National Truth and Reconciliation Day should become a statutory holiday in B.C. beginning in 2023.
Members with interest are encouraged to take the survey (and distribute it to individual store operators).
