Grant available to eligible businesses in Downtown Vancouver affected by vandalism

The grant, offered by the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association (DVBIA), will match up to 50% of the cost to repair and restore damages such as broken windows, doors, high-level graffiti removal or anti-graffiti coating, as well as the installation of security cameras, shutters, and gates, up to $5,000. Applications for the grant will be considered between October 24, 2022, and February 28, 2023, or until resources are exhausted. As submissions will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis, interested businesses are advised to apply as soon as possible.
