Access to B.C. small business tax rate expanded

B.C. businesses will remain eligible for access to the small business tax rate until they reach the threshold of $50 million in taxable capital, up from $15 million. The rate will gradually be reduced for businesses with between 10 and 50 million in taxable capital, aligning with the federal small business tax reduction, and will apply to taxation years beginning on or after April 7, 2022.
