RCC/CCCD meets with Quebec’s labour, French language ministers
January 31, 2023RCC/CCCD’s ongoing advocacy work led to two crucial meetings with Quebec Ministers this month.
Jean-François Roberge, Minister Responsible for the French Language, spoke with RCC/CCCD on January 20, 2023, about the Charter of the French language and data security. The Minister offered solutions and showed desire to work with the retail sector.
On January 23, 2023, RCC/CCCD also met with the Minister of Labour, Jean Boulet. The issues discussed included the upcoming change of working age, ongoing labour shortages, and improving literacy and numeracy in the province.
RCC/CCCD is pleased with the listening, openness, and collaboration noted in both discussions.
